Renginys nebeaktyvus

"Pasaulis Baltijos šalyse - Baltijos šalys Pasaulyje"

Jau 13 kartą rengiama Baltijos šalių konferencija apie intelektinę nuosavybę, kuri vyks viešbutyje Grand hotel Kempinski Vilnius, kurioje dalyvaus intelektinės nuosavybės srities profesionalai. Konferencijoje bus aptariamos naujausios pasaulinės intelektinės nuosavybės apsaugos tendencijos ir jų įtaka Baltijos valstybėms. Žinomi viešojo ir privataus sektoriaus pranešėjai pateiks savo įžvalgas apie bendrąjį patentą, išradimo apsaugos skirtumus ES ir JAV, ES dizaino reformą, tvarios pakuotės dizaino iššūkius, naujas žaliųjų prekių ženklų tendencijas, taip pat tarptautinių prekių ženklų registravimą ir naudojimą vietinėse rinkose.

Baltijos Intelektinės nuosavybės konferencija visada buvo puiki vieta susitikti su senais gerais draugais ir kolegomis bei sutikti naujus.

Šiais metais dalyviai bus ne tik iš Baltijos, bet ir kitų Europs šalių bei Ukrainos. Reikšdami savo visapusišką paramą Ukrainai ir Ukrainos IN profesionalams pakvietėme juos nemokamai dalyvauti konferencijoje.

    Francis Leyder

    Mr. Francis Leyder is European & Belgian Patent Attorney, President of epi (Institute of Prof Representatives before the EPO). Analytical chemist by training, he obtained his PhD before joining Labofina, Research Centre of the Petrofina Group, in a position combining documentation and patent work. He qualified as European Patent Attorney in 1988 . After the merger into the Total Group and subsequent reorganisations, he became head of the Patents Department of Total Research & Technology Feluy, until end 2015. He joined the European Patent Practice Committee of epi in 2005 and chaired it from 2008 to 2017; he has been elected to the presidency of epi in 2017. In this context, he closely followed the developments concerning the Unitary Patent, and represents epi as observer at meetings of the Select Committee in charge of the implementation at the EPO. He has frequently lectured on the Unitary Patent, in particular at the 12th Baltic AIPPI Conference in 2017. He sits on the Board of the Belgian AIPPI.

    Axel Stellbrink has been working as a German and European patent attorney for 30 years. He amassed experience for over 20 years in one of the leading European patent law firms of Germany as one of the managing partners where he founded the litigation department. He founded the company Quant IP - directed to innovation intelligence and investments where he is still active. After that he founded Stellbrink & Partner patent attorneys representing many international startups and large companies in prosecution and litigation.

    Asta Lukosiute

    Mrs. Asta Lukosiute is a Head of General Legal Affairs Service at EUIPO. She graduated Vilnius University Faculty of Law in 2000 and obtained LLM in European and International Law in Riga Graduate School of Law in 2001. Since 1998 worked as a lawyer in Metida. In 2004 joined the Legal Service of the European Parliament and in 2010 moved to Alicante to EUIPO. There first started in Operations Department taking opposition and cancellation decisions and since 2014 as litigator and legal expert in the Legal Department. In 2020 became Head of Service.

    Ruta Olmane

    Mrs. Ruta Olmane is European and Latvian Trademark and Design Attorney, associated partner of METIDA. She has been working in the field of intellectual property for more than 20 years. Ruta Olmane advises Latvian and foreign clients on protection and defense of intellectual property objects. Her main activities include filing trademark applications, handling oppositions and appeals at the Latvian Patent Office and EUIPO, licensing, IPR infringement cases, seizure of counterfeit goods by customs or the police, litigation in courts of all instances. Ruta Olmane was elected as President of ECTA for 2016-2018.

    Eglė Radzevičienė, Ph.D., MBA

    Dr. Egle Radzeviciene serves as Director, Intellectual Property, at Thermo Fisher Scientific Baltics, where her responsibilities cover counselling, planning and organization of nucleic acids therapeutics business intellectual property assets as well as management of internal IP analysts team. Egle Radzeviciene holds PhD. in molecular genetics/biotechnology from Moscow Lomonosov University and MBA from Vilnius University International School of Business (business & law). For more than 12 years Egle held various leadership roles with increasing responsibility in IP management, first at Fermentas business and, after Fermentas acquisition, in Thermo Fisher Scientific, Biosciences Division. Also, Egle is enrolled into EPO CSP program with the goal to qualify as European patent attorney.

    Massimo Maggiore

    Mr. Massimo Maggiore is a lawyer admitted to the Milan Bar since January 2002. He is co-founding partner of emlex where he heads the intellectual property/information technology and competition department. Massimo is a member of INTA Emerging Issues Committee—Climate Change and Trademarks Subcommittee, is academic fellow of Milan’s Bocconi University as contract professor of Legal Issues in marketing, lecturing on trademark law, merchandising contracts, and the responsibility of internet service providers for the infringement of IP rights. Massimo also occasionally lectures at the University’s LL.M in law of internet technology and on cyber security law. He serves as contract professor at the Milano Fashion Institute’s master on fashion law, is the author of several publications and a frequent speaker at conferences on intellectual property.

    Ms. Desirée Russo is Junior Trademark Manager of Legal Affairs for Europe and Africa at the PUMA Group. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Law for Enterprises and Institutions (University of Turin) and a Master Degree in European Legal Studies (University of Turin). After her studies, she worked for two IP Firms in Italy. In 2020 Desirée Russo joined the prestigious “Magister Lvcentinvs” Programme at the University of Alicante, thanks to which she qualified as “Trademark, Design and Copyright Specialist”. After a one-year traineeship at the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) working as Legal Intern for the First Board of Appeal, Desirée has joined the PUMA Group.

    Urtė Karklienė, currently sustainability manager, previously legal counsel at Oxylabs (Tesonet). Urtė was the Head of IP Law Department who led patent litigation cases and developed the company's IP (in particular) patent management strategy. She holds a Master's of Intellectual Property Law Degree from Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania) and has more than 10 years legal experience in public and private sectors.

    Juozas Nainys is co-founder and CEO of Droplet Genomics, a startup that is breaking new ground in high-throughput molecular biology analysis technologies. In his current role, he focuses on ensuring the rapid and sustainable growth of the company. Before being appointed CEO Juozas served as a CSO for 2 years and oversaw the development of novel droplet microfluidic technologies. Juozas has a PhD in biochemistry, is a co-author of over 10 peer-reviewed articles in top scientific journals and is a co-inventor of 6 patents.

    Dr.Sc.ing. Artis Kromanis is associate professor and senior researcher in Riga technical university and European patent attorney working at Petersona patents – AAA LAW. His main area of research is manufacturing technologies, especially industrial IoT. Patent attorney knowledge is utilised in providing lectures on intellectual property (IP) for masters and PhD students, as well as consulting Innovation and Technology Transfer Centre (ITTC) of the university. Consultating of ITTC involves development of IP strategy for commercialisation/valorisation projects, drafting license agreements and transfer agreements.

She is responsible for the management of KTU intellectual property as well as on technology transfer, holds all responsibilities of all PATLIB center activities , active consults members of academic and business society on intellectual property protection and management issues, participates in national and international IP working groups and events (EPO Projects, PATLIB network, ECIU IP working group, WIPO projects, ASTP-Proton, EIRMA etc.), holds WIPO certificate for the capacity building program in the framework of Baltic States pilot project on the development of a regional poll of IP commercialization experts (2018)

Mr. Urmas Kauler has extensive experience in all aspects of patents, trademarks and industrial designs activities from filing to litigation.

    Dr. Vita Kiriliauskaite is the Head of Inventions Division at the State Patent Bureau of the Republic of Lithuania. She holds PhD in Biochemistry (Vilnius University). After her studies, she worked as a patent examiner for a few years. As the Head of Inventions Division she is responsible for representing the Bureau in various international and regional conferences, committees and working groups, coordinating projects, providing daily consultations to colleagues and potential applicants, proposing amendments to related national legislation.

    Agris is a widely recognized and acclaimed litigator in Latvia and a lecturer in Civil Law with the Faculty of Law of the University of Latvia. He has co-authored commentaries on the Latvian Civil Law, the Latvian Constitution, and authored highly esteemed treatise “Civil Liability and Its Forms”. His main focus on is civil and commercial litigation, civil liability including liability for non-pecuniary loss, IP rights, contract disputes, criminal litigation, mainly in relation to white-collar crime and fraud.
